I thought you may be interested in these facts and figures –
A low energy light bulb contains APPROX 5 milligrams of mercury i.e. 0.005 grams
A standard fluorescent tube contains 20 milligrams of mercury i.e. 0.020 grams
Each tooth with an average amalgam filling contains between one half to three quarters of a gram of mercury i.e. between 0.5 to 0.75 grams of mercury – therefore, one average filling is the equivalent to between 100 and 150 low energy light bulbs – IN OUR HEADS!!
